Some days ago I received in my email the introduction of a new Goth musical band tat want to make their room into the gothic scene, as it couldn’t be otherwise, today I bring to you the article about…
I think that the best we can do for introducing them to you is to play some of their music so you can make your own opinion while you read mine:
Being honest, the first time I listened to this gothic band I thought “another symphonic metal bad with female vocals”, but then another idea came to my mind “ You must have some gust for getting into this with the amount of bands like that that there are currently playing… let’s see what they have to offer”.
And the fact is that Pergana has a lot of things to offer, in deed it seems that I’m not the only one that thinks like that, I didn’t read any other review yet but it looks like they are falling quite well into the gothic musical scene.
Anyway I started to listen to hem looking for “that” that would make them special and while I was searching… I noticed that there isn’t any element that could be the centre of their music nor is a band that plays around a single member who could be the “key” for their succeed, no, their music dance around a perfect equilibrium between the protagonist of each of it’s components and the strength and implication of them.
On overall that creates the impression that (as God if you know who I´m quoting) “Pergana don’t play dice”, I mean, their music follows an structured and sober scheme of a high technical level, they have been able to leave aside the “cool” but “strange” adding that could have corrupted their music creating a perfect composition.
They being able… of doing that is… hard to believe… when you see them in a home made video...
Ejem… well, they are authentics, no doubt on that…
Anyway, the musica result is a composition that is easy to listen, that hooks you from the first second and that you wont get tired of… it´s not like other bands wich are cool too but that after listening to a CD you end quite tired of the drums or the ritm changes or…
For that reason I like them, I think they are perfect to listen in CD and I would like to see them in concert (If you are reading this, feel free to send me some free tickets when you want ok?, we accept bribes), I hope that in those they forget a little bit about their perfect musical structure and goes a little more for that cracyness that I´m sure they have inside.
Having said this I do have some more things to say:
Firstly: the band already released their first EP called “The Mirror Of Silence”, its composed by 4 songs and can be downloaded freely (and legally) here:

We can´t leave without you knowing the people who form the band…
Audrey Laure (Vocals) / France
Nor without giving you the URL for their official sites:

Hope you enjoy this band and you know that if some of you have some gothic band that would like to be reviewed and published here, you just have to say so.
