You know that from time to time I try to help people who is starting shops or similar inside the gothic scene. I suppose that it’s because I would like to be able to earn my money doing something similar so I can avoid the regular labor market and hopefully forget all my past bosses… Well, anyway, today we meet 2 Spanish girls that I think are quite original…
We start the visit taking a look to “Mi mundo imaginario”, which should be translated as something like “My imaginary World” a gothic accessories shop with some real original stuff. Darklim (the creative of the shop) tells us that she has been fashion designer for years, trying to find that vision and personality that could define her work.
During that time she has been recognized internationally, in deed, she has exhibited her work in placed like Chicago and United Kingdom.
Back to Spain, the country where she was born, what she is looking now is to somehow let us all take a step into her world, at least all of us that in some special way share her dreams and fantasies, those dreams that most people already forgot. Feel them, Live them and you will get hocked so you’ll never be able to return.
But what is Mi mundo imaginario?
Mi mundo imaginario is an online shop in wich we can but completely handmade gothic fashion accessories related with the Victorian and steampunk gothic world.
This art pieces are really original but what most impacted me are the real cool books that she makes:
As you already know I have been writing a role playing book (that I expect to be released soon in Spanish, English version will have to wait a bit) and the fact is that I would have loved to have one of those for writing down the development notes.

The second artist that we are going to meet today is devoted to gothic dolls customization and the fact is that she does and incredible work.
Her idea is to work as a workshop of gothic dolls for gothic shops so those can buy her dolls to offer them to their clients, but I don’t think that she is going to have any problem on shipping some individually to you personally if you want.
Her Web site is full of gothic doll designs but if you want something different so you can have something exclusive there is no problem on customizing one for you… Zombies, vampires, Dark princess, gothic clowns… anything is possible.
The only bad thing I have to say is that in my opinion her web site is quite weak… but hey, that’s not a real problem if you do want to get some of the dolls, just check the gallery, look for the design you want and contact her by mail so you arrange the order and the shipping details.
