After what could be called a shit of week (technical name) and alter managing to make my boss (the boss of the company that feeds me, not this website which is mine) stop disturbing me each 5 minutes (it wasn’t easy)… I come back!

Today I bring to you a Spanish project that I think it’s going to be cool so it worth to follow it to see how it evolves, today we talk about…

Dead Story

Dead story spanish gothic movie

This project that comes from the hand of Fran Mateu (director) and its stared by Fran Palacios, will get to us on April 2011, the movie is in Spanish and i´m not sure taht there is going to be translated or subtitled  but anyway it´s a cool thing to see projects like this seeing the light (or the dark) and being created inside the gothic scene.

I have been surfing though the web looking for some information about this movie but it seems that they are being quite mysterious with its release, there isn’t much information around.

That doesn’t have to be bad… nor good, you know… a little below you will find the movie teaser and you will see what I’m talking about when I say that there isn’t much information around.

But before you get there Ill try to show you what it’s this film about… let’s start from the beginning… What’s this film about?

Well the story unfolds around Samuel, a man that met Isabel (interpreted by Maite Mateo) a woman that it’s a supernatural creature, Samuel will explain us how sharing his life with that woman changed his life and his vision of life.

Mostly one of our deepest wishes… how it would be if…?

That’s all I know about the film synopsis… I know that’s not a lot… but there isn’t more about the film around yet.

I can tell you though that the film compromises 2 different epochs, that way we can get into an European masquerade party of XVIII century similar to the ones that you can find in Venetia, I don’t have many images of the film but here is one about the film recording that I can show you:

Dead story masquerade gothic party

Masquerade parties have always been my weakness… although I have never been to one…

Another fact about this film is that it has the collaboration of “remembrances” band with his song “Espejismo”.

If you don’t know who remembrances are I can say you that it´s a spanish gothic band. I wrote about them a few years ago but you can read it only in the Spanish version of this website (sorry, never translated that one), but hey, even if you can’t read Spanish you can still see their musical video clips that I link in the article, just follow THIS link.

I can’t say much more about dead story so I leave you with the film teaser, hope you enjoy it even if you don’t understand much of what they are saying ;).
