The other day I was looking for people who is involved in one way or another with the gothic scene and y found a young lady who is designer and illustrator, we going to talk about…
First I have to say that me being Spanish makes me much easier to find this kind of artists in Spain, but I don’t want to limit this kind of articles to the Spanish territory so if you know about similar artists elsewhere, please let me know so I can contact them. Esther Sanz was born in Malaga in 1983 although I bet she would rather prefer to be born during the Victorian days… well as most of us do… unluckily for her that’s not the case, and luckily for us she have to share this poor days with us. Esther has worked in many projects about graphics design for various mobile phones games, finally that got to and end and nowadays she work as freelance, you know, corporative image, publicity design… and what we want: epic fantasy and gothic illustration and drawing.
Since Esther started to work as freelance, she has protagoniced several expositions, in deed the next one is going to take place in Malaga at the Tetería Media Luna (C/ Rafael Alberti, 2 - San Pedro Alcántara) from 30th January to 27th February, this exposition will be called “labyrinth of souls” and it will show is her most recent gothic themed work.
During this exposition ruth will show us her new T-shirt design called “sucubbus kiss” designed by herself and during the inauguration there will be a raffle in wich you could win the canvas of “witcher” signer by Esther.
