Today we are going to talk about one of the very few gothic Lolita’s publications in the world, if you haven’t heard about them yet, you should keep reading… Today we talk about:

Gothic Lolita Bible

It’s hard to find this kind of publications around, at least it’s quite hard to find them in Spain (Let me know if it’s otherwise out there) but even then, we can’t abandon hope, this kind of publications do exists and sooner or later they will be translated and released in our own language.

The publication we are going to talk about today it’s a real gift for your senses (even if you don’t understand a single Japanese kanji), in it’s inside you will be able to find tons of images devoted to the Gothic Lolita world both for men and women (although as all of you have wondered feminine fashion gets the biggest portion of the publication, of course).

The publication is mostly centered in fashion stuff which makes it to be released at least once for each season in order to let all of us know where the gothic Lolita tendencies are going, the bad thing is that this tendencies always come from Japan, which means you will hardly find any reference to the outside of Japan and well… that the publication is completely written in Japanese, of course…

Here you will be able to find another common sections apart from the fashion related ones… for example we can talk about this one which I’m going to call (because I have no clue on how it’s really called) “Do it yourself” in which you get a tutorial or even patterns on how to create your own clothes or accessories.

Sincerely, that’s quite handy considering how hard is to find gothic Lolita clothes or accessories out there.

Thos articles include information on how to create from the most simple accessories (like the necklace of the heading of this article) to the most complicated ones, just accessible to those with certain sewing abilities (like skirts or dresses), other magazines includes information on how to take care of your hair, how to get the perfect gothic Lolita makeup or even some cooking recipes.

If someone knows enough Japanese and it’s interested in translating some of the tutorials I would be more than pleased on raising it to the web.

But the creativity of this publication doesn’t end here, Gothic Lolita Bible have several other sections (as a lovely manga in each of their magazines) and some other special gifts like a Gothic Deck in which each card is a different Goth character (If anyone ever feels like sending me a present, please send me a deck like this :P).

How to get this Magazine is a good question… as far as I know this magazine is not edited in English or German, and of course much less chances of finding it in any other non Japanese language, I didn’t found anywhere to buy it in the internet so they can ship it anywhere in the world either so… I’m not sure…
