I want to inaugurate the clothes section of this Web with something special and really romantic, we Will talk about… Gothic Weeding Dresses
Gothic dresses have earned a lot of popularity in the last decades, each day more and more people use this theme as theirs weeding dresses. The key for this succeed is that they make a clear difference versus traditional dresses with their dark themes and dramatic look but they still keep the beautifulness needed.
One of the biggest point of the gothic style is that a Goth girl doesn’t seem a innocent and nice girl, in deed, Goth is an expression of sexual liberty and weeding dresses are no exception to this rule.
Another interesting point is that Goth style is not Standard, it requires your own “personal touch”, that means that you’ll have to search carefully for your perfect gothic dress, I can ensure you that finding it wont be easy, but if that wasn’t enough, chances are that you wont have a specialised store in your vicinity so you’ll probably have to search for it in Internet, starting to search in places… like this one. After searching a bit you’ll have to make your own decisions choosing between different tendencies like conventional corset, loose shirts, wavy skirts, thigh trousers or even chains.
Weeding clothes have been white since medieval times but nowadays gothic weeding dresses uses darker colours, specially black and red but not forgetting others like purple, dark blue or even more rare colours like UV red or green.
If we talk about the design of the dresses we must say that opposing to what conventional dressed want to transmit (innocence and purity basically) gothic dresses explore other feelings wanting to express a dark beauty, a latency sadness in the beauty of the moment… for reaching those feelings the designers must work with different materials like velvet wich makes the Goth dresses much heavier and therefore more difficult to wear than conventional ones. Any Weeding dress must transmit the exceptionality of the moment, for that purpose in many occasions Goth dresses uses a combination of wavy skirts with a thigh corset and long thigh gloves, in the event that a corset is not an option then the best solution is a lose dress with long and wavy sleeves that seems to flow like a river with the movement.
For completing the dress we only need a few more complements, depending on the choosing we made before we could think on velvet globes, fishnet stockings, high heeled shoes or even boots and the favourite over all of them a black veil.
Having the dress we still need a perfect make up for the occasion, but… that World require a brand new and complete article, I’m going to start a make-up section really soon in this site but, in the meantime, anyone want to share some suggestions? And… we will need some kina of dresses for the bridesmaid right?
