First of all I have to apologize to those who asked me this article way too much time ago, I delayed this for too long (For knowing why, just refer to the previous article), but we are back so we are going to talk about…

Well the title sais it all, in the following paragraphs you will find a tutorial on how to make your own Cybergoth Dread Falls, the fact is that making them is not that complicated, is harder to buy the materials than actually making the dreads so I added a few links for your reference.

As you already know, the cybergoth dread falls made of synthetic material that are wear over your head for simulating a completely anti-natural but cool hair… specially while dancing if you know how to do it, the only drawbacks is that its quite a hot clothe and that it weights quite a bit.

The first thing you have to do is to buy the materials for making the dread falls, the fact is that I’m not quite sure how is the material called in English (so if you know, please leave a comment), in Spanish it’s called “fomi”. Choose the color of your falls, then its lengths are you are ready to go.

Talking about the length of the falls, usually having them to reach the shoulder is enough, remember than the longer you get them the more they’ll weight, also try to not have all of them have the same length, leave some shorter and other slightly longer for giving them a better look.

About the color is quite effective to choose a more “neutral” color for the most part of your hair as if it was a base and then add some neon or ultraviolet tone. I write “neutral” because it doesn’t matter if you choose a plain black (quite nice) or a green, pink, red as a base, just add a stronger tone above it and it will be cool, just remember not to add a lot of colors or you could end wearing a rainbow on your head.

Cyber goth drad falls

Look for some other decorative materials that you can add for giving a more cybergoth and original look to your falls, some examples are plastic tubes, wires, cassette tape or even (although harder to add) electronic circuits.

Now it’s time of putting all pieces together, grab a resistant thread that can hold all the weight of your falls and knot the pieces you previously bought so it adjust to what you are looking for, you are free to make as many tries as needed until you are comfortable with the end result.
