Some days ago, one of the readers asked me why I didn’t wrote more articles about gothic music, well, I have a problem with that: I want to write about “different” stuff, things that I think that is mostly unknown by anyone and hard t find in the Internet, therefore I try to avoid well known bands and well known themes.

But today I found a really interesting Web site that I think that most of you will enjoy:

Before starting with this I would like to add note: I want to talk about less known stuff, that means that if you have a new band, you are starting in the clothes design or you are a photographer that needs some publicity or… whatever… feel free to contact me and it will be a pleasure for me to write a article about you.

Having said this What I bring to you today is a radio where you are going to listen to the best gothic music around the world, both the most well known groups and those that are breaking into the gothic scene.

RadioGothic is a gothic themed radio created by Jaromír Gadula around 2009, his Web site (which is linked at the end of the article) it’s partially translated into English so it’s easy to navigate through it although if you don’t know Polish Czech you will have problems understanding some articles or reading the comments… It happens when you got o a Polish czech Web site I suppose.

I have started to use this Website at work, I just get into in it, click on “mp3 128kb/s” so my winamp opens and contact the audio stream and then close the Web site just in case my boss come around, I work with my headphones so I don’t bother people with my own music.

It’s making my job way less boring than before discovering it.

RadioGothic had a great idea for funding itself, it has a donations system in which for only 2 € you are eligible for a VIP account for a month, having a VIP account means that you can chose a single song to be reproduced each hour.

Hope you like it, but please forward me your opinions and comments about this radio, While I do like it, I would like to know the opinion of other Goth people around the world.

Also if you know of more initiatives like this one, It would be great to read about them.

But it is an czech site, not polish.
I haven't spot there a single word in polish ;P
And the radio itself is just great.
