We come back to the gothic make up section, this time we going to talk about a pretty simple but lovely black and white goth make up tutorial, today we going to talk about…
Black and White Gothic Make Up Tutorial
Well as usually in this section I will start by placing the video and then ill try to give you some written instructions just in case you want to print them or anything, this time the video is a little bit Dark, that means that maybe you have to raise the brightness of your monitor for watching it adequately. Well let’s get starting… cemetery is waiting…
Its not before 0:40 that the part that the make up tutorial itself starts, it starts by applying a white foundation only in the upper lid, it uses a base several tones lighter than her own flesh tone, the election of this make up foundation it’s important because it will create the contrast between the back and white colors of the final make up.
The video doesn’t say the tone used for this base but I would bet its completely white foundation.
We then proceed with a black eye liner delineating the entire upper lid but only the external half of the lower one.
Then we can apply the black eye shadow, for doing it we will apply a layer of it rounding all the white base that we applied earlier and extending it a little bit to the outside, this is one of those occasions in which there is much more useful an image than 1000 words.
Later with a thinner pencil but with same shadow tone she gets the black tone slightly into the nasal septum (not too much just a little bit).
After eliminating all imperfections using a cotton stick she comes back with the thin pencil for extending the back color a little bit to the external upper side, creating some short of gothic cat eye.
Then carefully she applies carefully the black eye shadow to the external third of the upper lid.
Next steep is done with a black eye pencil and it consists in painting external half of the lower water line of the lower eye lid.
We only need the last details for ending the black and white gothic make up, a little bit of rimmel, remove last imperfections, a few powders slightly lighter than her own flesh all over the face and below eyebrows… lip stick (I would have used black lipstick) and we are done.
Final result should be something like this:
The rest of the video shows us her hairstyle, I love it too and would like to write articles about gothic hairstyles but not yet (If you want, please send me an article and ill publish it!!)
Hope you liked it as much as I did!!.
