It took quite a bit of time to talk again about gothic makeup, but here it is again another gothic makeup tutorial, I’m not quite sure what’s the style of this makeup, I would say it’s cyber Goth style although it really doesn’t matter, it’s cool and it contains a tip quite useful for making perfect straight lines of makeup, today we talk about…
Purple and White Gothic makeup The first thing you have to notice about this makeup is… the fangs, yeah I know they have nothing to do with this makeup but they are so cool… a pair of fangs (yeah, a pair, look closely), not too long not too short… just perfect, just take a look to the photo:
Having said that, lets go with the gothic makeup tutorial: We are going to do as with the rest of the makeup tutorials of this Web site, I’ll post the video that in this case is quite self-explaining, and then I’ll write step by step what Psychara0x do in case someone has any doubt or in case you want to print it or something.
As you can see the first thing she does is to take a piece of tape and place it in diagonal to the outside of the eye as you can “guess” from the photo (the translucent shinning skin is where the tape is), the best you can do for seeing where it is placed is watch the video.
The tip is impressible useful for getting a perfect straight line in your makeup… I should create an article with a collection of gothic makeup tips… anyway, let’s continue:
The first tone that we are going to apply is black (or quite dark anyway) just in the arc formed by your upper eyelid.
From now on we will apply the more perfect the better arcs of purple, dark blue and lighter blue tones respectively to the outside, after doing that (that I didn’t managed to describe quite well) it should look something like this:
Next steep is what she is starting to do in the upper photo, it consist in blurring slightly the external part of the last arc you applied.
Then we will apply a white tone over the eye lid, just below the black line we applied in first place and covering all the eyelid surface.
We are almost there: Just apply a purple shadow over the external part of the eyelid and then a black tone so the transition between the white color and the black and purple is not that abrupt and we will only be lacking the last touches for completing the makeup.
Just in case you didn’t understood what the tape was for here is a new photo of Psychara0x removing the tape, notice that with it she is removing makeup that otherwise would have prevented the makeup form being completely straight.
Take another look to the cool fangs too.
And well, we are almost there: Just apply a black eyeliner both in the upper and lower eyelids, a black pencil in the waterline black and black mascara over the lids and you are done.
If all went well it should look something like this:
And that’s all the purple and white gothic makeup tutorial, enjoy.
